Co-Managing Shareholder Andrew Ayar is responsible for ensuring the firm’s continued commitment to the highest levels of client service, attorney excellence and pro bono work.
Mr. Ayar has been honored every year since 2012 by Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star. He concentrates his practice in the areas of business transactions and corporate matters, including: mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations of business entities; corporate finance; commercial lending; real estate; and simple and complex estate and gift tax planning. Among the many merger and acquisition projects he has been involved in, Mr. Ayar represented shareholders in the sale of the stock of a national consumer beauty products company to a private equity group for $24 million. He also successfully assisted an automotive supplier with a $20 million asset swap transaction and the sale of an automotive supplier in bankruptcy for $40 million.
For lenders and borrowers, he handles a wide variety of commercial lending transactions and has structured, negotiated, and documented financing arrangements of all types. Some examples are acquisition financing, asset-based financing, construction lending, commercial real estate financing, mezzanine financing, subordinate debt financing, letters of credit, loan syndications, and the buying and selling of loans. His practice also focuses on workouts and restructurings of troubled credits.
He serves as a volunteer for the Chaldean Federation of America Adopt-A-Refugee Family Program and sits on the Board of Directors of Shenandoah Country Club.
