Professional Expertise Ms. Parson has extensive experience with defense of insurance companies in life, disability and accidental death litigation, as well as general and complex commercial litigation including UCC and other contract disputes, software litigation, commercial fraud and business tort litigation, and discrimination actions. Memberships/Associations Ms. Parson’s bar affiliations include the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan, the Oakland County Bar Association, and the Defense Research Institute. She also is a member of the Business Litigation Committee of the Defense Research Institute, the Civil Litigation Section Evidence Committee of the American Bar Association, and the Civil Litigation and Appellate Sections of the State Bar of Michigan. Ms. Parson is also featured in “This Week in Michigan Law” as an Institute of Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) contributor. Education Ms. Parson received her B.A. cum laude in English from Wayne State University in 1973, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received her J.D. from the Wayne State University School of Law in 1981, where she served on the Wayne Law Review. |
