Experience/Honors Mr. McGlynn provides legal and consulting services related to estates and trusts, guardianships and conservatorships, family law, real estate sellers and buyers, corporations and business entities. During his career, Mr. McGlynn has been named to the Governor’s Honor Roll of Volunteers. In 2011, he was designated a Five-Star Professional as one of the top seven percent of wealth managers in Estate Planning, Trust Services and Business Planning. In addition to being admitted to the Michigan bar, Mr. McGlynn is admitted to practice in many federal courts, including the U.S. Supreme Court. Professional Memberships Mr. McGlynn is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and its Probate and Estate Planning, Real Estate, and Master Lawyers Sections. He is also a member of the Financial and Estate Planning Council of Metropolitan Detroit. Community Organizations Mr. McGlynn is a past director for Pontiac Area Transitional Housing, an entity of Lighthouse of Oakland County. He serves as a board member of the Philip and Elizabeth Filmer Memorial Charitable Trust. He is also a former member and treasurer of the Voluntas Dei Institute (a secular institute of the Catholic Church), and as a trustee with the Adray Foundation. Mr. McGlynn is also a director of ROPARD (The Association for Retinopathy and Related Diseases), which helps children with sight and eye problems and their families. Education Mr. McGlynn holds both a B.S. in Accounting and a J.D. from the University of Detroit-Mercy. He was honored with membership in Alpha Sigma Nu (Jesuit Honor Society) and Beta Gamma Sigma (National Business Honor Society). He served as an associate editor for the University of Detroit Law Journal. |
